James Milo Griffith was admitted to the Royal Academy in London at the age of 20. Some of his most famous works include 'The Four Evangelists' in Bristol Cathedral; the fountain at Bridgnorth, and his statue of John Batchelor at Cardiff. Griffith spent some time teaching in San Francisco, but returned to London in 1896, where he died a year later.
