Born: 1914, UK, England, London, Hornsey   Died: 1991, UK, Wales, Abergavenny

Illustrator and stained glass designer. Studied at Hornsey, 1930-32, and both the Royal Academy and Central School of Art, 1933-34. In 1934 he moved to Llanllechid in North Wales where, together with his wife Brenda Chamberlain (1912-1971), he established the Caseg Press. During the Second World War he served with the Medical Corps in Israel, Greece and Egypt. After the war he re-started his private press in North Wales but later moved to Llanstephan in South Wales in 1956. He worked as an Assistant Director for Wales (Visual Arts), Arts Council, 1951-56, and taught at Dyfed College of Art, 1958-61. He produced wood engravings and stained glass designs, the latter mainly for churches in Wales and America
