Harvey Daniels

Born: 1936, UK, England, London

Painter and printmaker. Studied at Willesden School of Art, 1951-56, London University / the Slade, 1956-58, and Brighton College of Art, 1958-59. Taught at Brighton Polytechnic, 1963-89. He has exhibited widely in Britain and America and has works in the collections of MoMA, New York, and the Victoria and Albert Museum. He lives in both Brighton, where he is a member of the Fiveways Artists Group, and at La Rochelle in France. He is the author of 'Printing', Paul Hamlyn (1974), and co-author of 'Exploring Printmaking for Young People - Simple Printmaking for Children', Van Nostrand Reinhold (1972). He produces colourful abstracts in a variety of media including oil, watercolour, acrylic, lithography and etching
